Description

Developed in-house by Brewtools, the FCS Brew Pump combines a compact brushless motor with a design that makes disassembly and cleaning easy.

The 10-pole motor features rotor magnets integrated into the impeller. The impeller is secured directly to the shaft with a bolt, while a 3" Tri Clamp holds the pump head in place for quick removal and easy access.

The pump delivers a maximum flow rate of 32 litres per minute and a maximum head of approximately 5 metres. Built-in current sensing allows increased motor speed at lower flow rates, making it well suited for CIP cleaning.

The impeller is made from food-grade, glass-reinforced Ryton PPS.

Powered by 24 V DC, the pump draws a maximum of 48 W (2 A). Speed can be controlled through the Brewtools CAN bus protocol or a 0–5 V control signal.

A dedicated adapter cable allows the pump to be retrofitted to B40, B80 and B150 brewing systems.

For CIP and other applications requiring simple speed adjustment, the Tiny CTRL speed controller is available separately.
